For nearly two decades, the urban farm in the North Oak neighborhood of New Britain has stood as a bulwark against blight and a resource for healthy organic produce for nearby residents.

Urth Farms is committed to growing the farm's involvement not just in the surrounding neighborhood, but the Greater New Britain community. You can find our local produce in many great area restaurants, including Plan b, Tisane, and Butchers & Bakers

But our involvement goes beyond supplying local restaurants with great organic produce. We have worked with non-profits and educational institutions such as New Britain ROOTS and UCONN Health to spread the word about the benefits of organic food and eating local.

Our goal is to become a resource available to all New Britain residents interested in eating local and healthy living.
